PACE Center for Girls, Lee County, FL

The PACE Center for Girls is a facility that provides counseling along-side academics for "at risk" teenage girls from the ages of 12 to 17. The Center received a new building and the project was to create renderings to garner interest for donations and sponsors.

The PACE Center for Girls is a school that serves teenage girls that have been emotionally or physically abused; have suffered from drug addiction; whose parents may be incarcerated, or many other qualifications that allow them to attend the PACE Center and receive counseing along-side academics, service learning, career preparation and independent living skills.  The PACE Center philosophy is, "PACE values all girls and young women, believing each one deserves an opportunity to find her voice, achieve her potential and celebrate a life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity, and grace."  The PACE Center received a donation of land and are renovating the building on it.  The following renderings were used in a Hard Hat Tour of the facility where the rooms were "for sale."  The Sponsors receive a plaque in the rooms to honor their donation.

This is the PACE Store.  The store is designed to resemble a boutique.  The store is used as a positive reinforcement program wherein the girls that reach set goals will be able to go "shopping" in the store for items such as shoes, purses, clothes, prom dresses, journals, art sets, etcetera.  Some girls rely on this store for even the most essential items such as shampoo and notebook paper.
