Textile Art - The objective of this project was to create depth and movement through the use of textiles. Strips and cut=out of fabric are used to create this original piece of "art."
Art Mask - The objective of this project was to create a atomically correct mask of your partner's face using planes of paper and then plastered. The decoration of the mask was to mirror the partner's personality.
Toy project - The objective of this project was to create a toy that is functional. The first person whose pawns drop to the bottom level - wins.
Toy project - Opponents push and pull the sliders so that their pawns fall through the either square or round pawns to the bottom level. The name of the game is Drop Race.
Abstract Art - The objective of this project was to used "found" objects to create a work of abstract art to convey a word. My word was "ashamed."
PROJECT ABSTRACT DESIGN - Materials used for this project was a scrap wood block, an old t-shirt, fiber filling used from discarded throw pillow, thread and leftover craft paint.
PROJECT CHAIR AS A METAPHOR - The project objective was to create a chair from a metaphor. I chose to use the chair as an image of support and strength. My husband's nickname is Cobra and he has supported me through returning to college later in life. The metaphor comes from his continued support of my dreams.
PROJECT CHAIR AS A METAPHOR - The inner core of this chair is made from metal gutters wrapped in fiber-fill and the sheathed in muslim. The cobra hood is an inner core of cardboard. The seat is a racquet. The outer layer "scales" are made from cut fabric glued onto the sheathing.
